Want To Know The Best Way To Gain Muscle Fast?

Best Way To Gain Muscle

Over the years, there have been many principles, theories and rules that people have come up with when it comes to the best way to gain muscle fast and there have been many similar theories and methods mentioned. Today like to share six methods on how to build muscle that I’ve found to be highly beneficial.

Some of these theories are training concepts, recommended supplements and nutritional strategies. All of them contribute to the best gains you can think of.

#1 Less Is More

Always focus on training with an increase in intensity instead of trying to extend the duration of your workouts. Less is more when it comes to gaining muscle mass fast and you should not train similar to a marathon runner but instead apply progressive overloading. You will have more potential to make progressions the less exercises you have in your workout.

#2 Keep Cardio To A Minimum

The best way to gain muscle fast is to limit your cardio activity during your muscle building phase. Even though cardio is beneficial at keeping fat levels low, doing too much cardio activity can lead to decreased recovery ability and overtraining. Remember to take into account that you are already demanding lots from your body simply from weight training and if muscle mass is your main concern, focus on weight training and cardio as a secondary.

#3 Keep Nutrition Clean Year Round

Some people use a ‘bulking’ phase as an excuse to eat junk food and pig out on bad foods, but the reality is you still need to eat a diet consisting of clean sources of calories and healthy alternatives. Your body will respond much better to top quality food choices and you will gain less fat and more muscle will be built if you do follow this rule. There’s nothing wrong with including a cheat meal so long as it’s not every day. You will be much more thankful if you follow this advice and end up with a lot more muscle without the excess fat gain.

#4 Include Supplements

Supplements don’t build muscle necessarily, but they can assist you in your goals and act in synergy with a good plan already in place. I would always recommend the seasoned veteran to the beginner trainer to include a good low carb protein powder, multivitamin, fish oil, BCAA and glutamine. Those are my top 5 favorite supplements to keep in year round and another that is worth mentioning is digestive enzymes as they will assist in proper digestion when consuming a slight caloric surplus.

#5 Pick the Big Ones

Exercise selection is always key when trying to gain muscle fast and in my experience, picking compound movements will always triumph over a workout filled with isolation exercises. Compound movements recruit the most muscle fiber when compared to isolation exercises and generally, when we want to gain muscle, we want to work the most muscle in the least amount of time (remember less is more?). Including 3-4 compound movements and following with 1-2 isolation exercises is a good point to start with your workouts.

#6 Recovery is Key

Paying attention to weight training is good. Keeping an eye on nutrition is better. If you pay attention to your recovery you will see the best results possible. Recovery is often overlooked by people interested in the best way to gain muscle fast. Sleeping at least 8 hours each night, napping on weekends or in spare time and ensuring to include some stretching routine is the key to recovering properly to grow and return to your next workout fully recovered.
