Well you have probably guessed what is coming, but it is a crucial tip nevertheless – don’t over-train. It is a routine that means don’t exercise too many times a week or on sets that are too excessive, such as more than an hour. It is also unadvisable to workout when ill or injured, consistency is the key.

Now, there are those individuals out there who may be reading this and saying…no way! If you don’t work hard, you won’t make any gains! Well, this is somewhat. One of the most critical of all Muscle building tips, however, is that not only must one work hard, one must also work smart!

There is a condition where if a body is pushed too hard it starts to reject the extra stress and enter a phase called Atrophy when it starts to waste away. If there is a lesson to be learned from this story it would be that there is no magic formula for building muscle and getting fit as every ‘body’ does have its limit.
