Rapid Weight Loss
Do you want to know a weight loss system that has guaranteed effects even if you break all the basic rules of dieting? You can eat any food that tickles your fancy until you can no longer push anything more down your throat. And yes, you will still definitely lose the additional body mass that you have been dying to cut off ever since. Oh, if only such claims of rapid weight loss are true, then a lot of us will no longer need to get stressed out about our weights.
But because of the extremely amazing promises of such claims, a lot of people can’t help but to go for the bait. Even amidst all kinds of informative notice released for public safety. Americans alone have been determined to spend 40 billion dollars every single year on weight loss products and services. The best selling ones are products, such as drug supplements that are said to be able to chop off body fats even with improper diet and lack of exercise.
In Beyonce’s endorsement of “master cleanse” diet, many believed that maple syrup could actually clean the toxic substances out of the body. Well, if that were true then maybe we should just get pancakes ready for accidents, like perhaps snake bites. The thing about the advertisement of such products and methods is that they always “guarantee” the public of the effects. And because of their lies, the word itself has lost its efficacy.
The skeptical and careful types of people weren’t able to win against this pseudo-methods, too. Because a study-proven VLCD or Very Low Calorie Diet came into existence. With this one, a dieter must simply follow a restricted calorie intake. But there is one single flaw, it is not applicable to every one. This diet was only targeted for specific overweight people, and because of the dangers of giving out “very low calorie” food, clinical supervision is advised. The problem was, it leaked out and is now being offered by companies to the public.
If rapid weight loss does take place, it presents more risks than benefits to the body. Digestive organs are stressed out due to improper food intake. Among the common side effects are gallstones, malnutrition, organ failure, dehydration. Without proper food and fluid, we do not get the required nutrients of our body. If this happens, we are only putting out bodies in the way of danger. In most cases, losing the body’s functionality in certain activities could be the worst effect. But for the unfortunate ones, it could be serious sickness or even death.
Rapid weight loss is indeed tempting as it is. But its not at all beneficial to the body, let alone really effective in terms of losing weight.
