Muscle Confusion Workouts
Earlier this year, BeachBody, the producers of P90X, Insanity, Asylum, RevAbs, etc announced they will be releasing the latest version of their fastest selling product. After a couple of ideas and hundreds of speculations, the official name is P90X2, aka P90X:MC2 or Power 90 Extreme : Muscle Confusion 2.
P90X2 is a home fitness schedule made by Tony Horton, based on the new concept of muscle puzzlement. If you have ever worked out and hit a plateau, muscle confusion is alleged to help you break that plateau and continue to generate results. Essentially Tony Horton keeps your body from evolving and becoming energy-efficient by changing the rate, duration, reps, and sets of each and every single workout.
Unlike most BeachBody workout programs P90X2 is only going to be schedule for 5 days a week rather than the usual 6. This is down to the fact that the daily workouts are going to be more intensified and highly demanding on your body, so more rest is needed to recover correctly and so to avoid wounds. Also, the exercise routines are limited to 60 minutes, which should come in as good news since some P90X workouts lasted hour and half.
The programme is going to be split in 3 different sections or phases, each on of them is going to help improve a specific side of your fitness. These phases are: Foundation, Strength, and Performance. Each one of them will build into each other to help your body get good results within 3 months.
Though P90X2 is certainly the sequel to P90X, I am sure that this workout is going to be for anyone who is wanting to get a better physique whether or not they have finished P90X or not. Just like Power 90 was not a prerequisite for P90X, I am sure the 2 version is going to be a stand alone programme, too.
Whether or not you are a P90Xer or a total newbie, this is your chance to get not merely in the best shape of your life, but basically ripped!
