Positive people will give you reasons to feel good about yourself and not tear you down. You need to balance those people that you find as draining with those that that can help to build you up.
While limiting the negative people you spend a majority of your time with, you also need to find people who you can also build up. Giving to others is one of the quickest boosts to self esteem that is available. Be sure that you are building people up and not just giving tearing them down. There are plenty of people in the world that will tear down people that are already having problems.
As you consider your health, realize that we are finding more and more connections between the mind and health. If you have a poor self image, it can directly affect your health. Therefore, it is important that you take the steps to improve your self image in order to be a healthy person.
